I’m the type of writer that you’re “not supposed to be.”  I’m supposed to be only creative or only thriving in the marketing/advertising space. To whoever made up this rule: screw that.

I got my MFA in screenwriting and when I finish a pilot or feature, I feel like I climbed a mountain and deserve a medal. ( I deserve a loving pat on the back at most).

I love comedy. I wrote/produced/starred in my first sketch ever this past fall, and I’m in the middle of production for a 5-part web series.

I love copywriting/content development. You know why? I get to use all of my other writing skills/passions/predilections to write the best stories for real people that have a tangible, positive effect on the world.

Of course, we can’t be everything. Don’t ask me to do math, please.
